Novotechnik builds rotary non-contacting angle sensor products. The RFC incorporates new sensor technology that is non-contacting and has no moving parts attached to the sensor giving it unlimited life.

The RSC 2800 and VERT-X/RSC 2200 and VERT-X/RSC 3700 angle sensors are non-contacting sensors that utilize one of two Novotechnik technologies–VERT-X® or magnetic field orientation for the absolute measurement of angle in control, regulation and measurement applications. Both technologies provide extended life with VERT-X Sensors specified at more than 350 million movements.

VERT-X is Novotechnik’s new non-contacting angle technology and provides absolute angle measurement. One of the unique benefits VERT-X technology provides is that measurements are referred to a mechanical reference point so that angular position information is still held in the event of a power failure.
