Novotechnik’s NOVOSTRICTIVE® sensor technology is setting the new standard for linearity, resolution together with extended life in non-contacting applications. This new technology is also flexible and supports multiple simultaneously moving pick-up markers with the same sensor. Advanced Serial Data Communication Technology
DyMoS™ is Novotechnik's proprietary serial data interface for magnetostriction devices. It provides a standard synchronous 24/25 bit serial data interface and a dynamic pulse interface with data transfer monitoring. This permits highly accurate velocity information as well as processing of the start/stop signal, and even allows multiple position markers.

Vert-X® Noncontact Rotary Sensor Technology: Non-Contacting Technology
Novotechnik’s Vert-X rotary sensor technology is setting the new standard for extended life in non-contacting rotary position transducer / sensor applications with a life expectancy of more than 350 million movements. This vertical Hall sensor technology uses a unique cross-shaped structure to enable magnetic field components to be measured in both the x and y directions. Sinusoidal and cosinusoidal signals are transmitted to an embedded microprocessor, which uses the ratio between the sinusoidal and cosinusoidal parts to perform the angle calculation. Indres Non-Contacting Linear Technology
This measuring technology called "Indres" (inductive-resistive) is insensitive to vibrations, and it is not affected by static magnetic fields or dynamic and static electric fields. Its good EMC properties exclude interference. The linearity values, depending on the design, are up to ±0.1% without linearization, and the resolution reaches 16 bit. The ambient temperature may be between -40 and 150 °C.
